Chapter 7 Trustee

In addition to representing debtors with respect to their financial issues, Terri Running serves as a Chapter 7 bankruptcy trustee. As a Chapter 7 trustee, her duties include reviewing the bankruptcy petition and schedules filed with the court, investigating the financial affairs of the debtors to insure that they followed all applicable bankruptcy laws and rules. As a trustee, she conducts the 341 hearing with debtors to verify information and analyzes the financial affairs of the debtors to identify assets that can be sold to satisfy the claims of creditors.

As trustee, Ms. Running administers approximately 800 to 1,200 cases each year. She has gained extensive experience in the bankruptcy process and has become extremely familiar with the filing requirements and intricacies of Chapter 7 bankruptcy petitions. She is able to thoroughly analyze cases, consider important points of law from the perspective of the bankruptcy estate, readily spot potential pitfalls in a client's case, and identify solutions to help ensure the success of her client's bankruptcy petition.
